Education
Serves as Liason to local High Schools, colleges and universities for the Hospitality Industry. Public appearances at career days, job fairs etc. Assists with Education Forum on a Bi-Annual Basis.(non-election year)
Fundraising
Coordinates annual Cards For Kids Fundraiser including booking venue and vendors, securing sponsorships and silent auction donations.
Legislative
Creates awareness among the group about issues that impact the hospitality and tourism industry. Represents GCCHA at key events. Assists with Candidate forum on a Bi-Annual basis (election year).
Marketing
Designs and manages all facebook and website announcements regarding GCCHA events. Manages media contacts and circulates press releases and PSA’s as needed.
Membership
Recruits new members and manages collateral Material for association. Inducts new members.
Programs
Coordinates all monthly luncheon venues as well as speakers for each event. Works closely with Marketing committee to maintain accuracy of details.
Public Relations
Members that are designated to answer media questions on behalf of GCCHA.
This committee is responsible for accummulating all candidate applications, verifying qualifications and making recommendations to the board for the nomination/award of Del Mar and THLA scholarships, Fundraiser beneficiaries and annual awards and board elections.
